Bank DKI seeks to strengthen the transformation of digital services by cooperating with PT Amazon Web Services Indonesia (AWS Indonesia) and PT Sigma Cipta Caraka (Telkomsigma). The cooperation is related to the use of cloud computing technology or cloud computing.


Director of Technology and Operations of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, said the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to the cooperation carried out in Jakarta on Tuesday (6/9) is expected to improve digital services to customers.


"In the midst of the development of the digital era, we (Bank DKI) strive to consistently provide digital banking services that can provide convenience and convenience for transactions to customers. For this reason, we are accelerating the digital transformation process of Bank DKI with support from AWS Indonesia and Telkomsigma," said Amirul through a written statement, Wednesday (7/9).


Amirul explained that Bank DKI's digitalization efforts will be supported by AWS Indonesia through the presence of a solution architect and IT HR development to improve its ability to operate cloud computing-based services.


Amirul said that with this condition, Bank DKI's IT HR will receive a number of training and enablement by Amazone Web Services in order to increase capabilities and competencies regarding cloud computing.


Meanwhile, Telkomsigma as a local partner providing digital transformation, in this case has agreed to strengthen the modernization and digitization journey of Bank DKI through cloud-based infrastructure. According to Amirul, this is in line with Bank DKI's digital transformation roadmap.


The collaboration also includes the Telkomsigma agreement to utilize banking products and services from Bank DKI. Amirul added that the use of cloud computing will encourage Bank DKI to continue to innovate in providing services that focus on customer needs quickly and adaptively following the latest technology trends.


"Cloud will be the backbone of future infrastructure to realize digital banking services with the JakOne Mobile super app and JakOne Pay electronic money for fast, safe, easy and reliable digital transaction services," said Amirul.


Telkomsigma's Business & Sales Director, Tanto Suratno, said this collaboration underscores Telkomsigma's commitment to be present as a digitalization partner for the banking sector through cloud-based infrastructure support. "In this case, we are realizing it for Bank DKI starting from the IaaS cloud service, and will be developed to cloud-based PaaS, and SaaS," explained Amirul.


Meanwhile, Country Manager for Amazon Web Services Indonesia, Gunawan Susanto, said that his party wanted to increase added value through the collaboration.


"This collaboration is a form of our commitment to continue to contribute in Indonesia through the capability of the AWS partner ecosystem to build a cloud system. Especially at Bank DKI, we hope that it will provide benefits that encourage Bank DKI scalability so that it can modernize its business," said Gunawan. .
